DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!! They will not return your calls, text, or email to resolve issues. I work at a military installation and have passed the word to everyone I come across in regards to their lack of professionalism and customer service. Very disappointing

Greenbrier Dodge Customer Care Review from Chesapeake, Virginia

I have been a valued owner of a dodge since 2009. I have always been greeted with professional courtsey and kindness. I am highly insulted to say the choice of greetings by your staff recently displayed was totally unacceptable! I entered the service area to transact business! I was greeted with " YO' BOSS what can I do you for" This has happened the past three times upon my visit! Needless to say, I had to correct your staff and let him know what my name and how I felt very insulted with his Slang unprofessional greeting! The next person in line was greeted with hello sir! What ever happened to Consistant Customer Service? Despite your staff poor use of language; my initial concern was not taken care of! This may seem petty to you however; it means a lot to me! Sensitivity training & implementing Best Practices is greatly needed! Everyone who enters your store should be treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Remove the Slang & and perform your duties in a professional manner. Greeting your customer is the first step in creating a good relationship! I am undecided wheather I want to return to your dealership! No one enjoys insults! Lastly, ones attitude should not be overlooked! Attention to details will really increase your overall productivity and leave your customer highly satisfied!!! " I'm Not"

Service Department problems

I have been a customer of Greenbrier Dodge since 2002. I've bought a new Ram Crew 4x4 ... and then in 2004 I traded it in and bought a new Ram 4x4 crew diesel. I'm getting ready to trade it in and buy another new Ram 3500 4x4 diesel w/ all the bells and whistles. At around $75k, these are not cheap purchases. Recently though (Feb 16) I had a state inspection done on my truck. It failed, (the dealership said my defrost was not putting out enough air volume) ... I had the dealership repair the defrost (this turned out to be $40 for a couple plastic doors that direct the air, and over a $1000 for the labor) I had the dealership also go ahead and replace the heater core while they were back there as I've heard it sometimes goes bad. Well, it took almost a week for the service work w/ no communication from the service department. I finally got my truck back. Drove it down to South Carolina the following week to see my parents, and determined that there is a ticking noise going on behind the dash. Very annoying. Also noticed that the A/C was no longer blowing cold air. I called the service department and they set up an appointment for this past Thur. I dropped it off first thing in the morning and waited patiently for their findings. Started getting late in the day, so I called. They transferred me to someone's voicemail. I never received a call, so I called again the next morning and got transferred again to someone else's voicemail. Still no call, so I called again around 3pm on Friday and left another voicemail on someone else's line. Finally, my adviser called me at 4pm, to tell me they have not even started working on the truck yet, but they think the noise is from the foam the plastic doors (they just replaced) bumps up against. I asked "wouldn't that piece of foam also be replaced??? and informed him that they had left pieces of some kind of foam all over my dash and floor" they stated that they could open it back up to check the a/c, but it would be another $1000. They then said they would drop it down to $250 to open up the dash again. I told them I didn't think that was fair as the a/c had worked before they did the work, and that there was never a ticking noise behind the dash until the work they recenly did. I told them I've been a long time customer and bought several trucks from them and this was causing me to rethink my relationship with them. The service adviser said he would discuss w/ his manager and have someone call me Saturday to discuss. I waited and waited, but did not receive the call. I called the dealership and again was transferred to someone's voicemail. Never received a call on Saturday or Sunday. Going to try calling back tomorrow to check on status. VERY FRUSTRATED!!! On a separate note ... last year during the state inspection, they told me my windshield wipers were worn out, even though I had just replaced them the week before. They then came back and apologized saying their technician had misdiagnosed. On the 2 previous years, they said I had a bad license plate light and replaced for me ($10) each time for a $2 item that takes about 3 seconds to stick in place. I check all brake lights and license plate lights now, before taking to the dealership.

Follow Up - 8/9/2016

I had a recall on both my airbags on my 2004.5 Dodge 2500. I came in this morning to get the driver's side replaced.

Passenger side is on back order, so I'll have to get that done later. While talking to my service advisor, Bill (technician that worked on my truck last time), came by and shook my hand and told me he appreciated my business and was glad I was giving them a second chance. Bill's a great guy and really shows the customer he cares and I for one appreciate him going above and beyond his duties. If the dealership is reading this, thanks for today's service and for Bill and all the good technicians there.

I'm still on the fence on whether I want to purchase another vehicle from your dealership, but he's doing all he can do to keep my a customer. Thanks Bill !!!

Greenbrier Dodge - Car Price Review

Was asked by manager will u do it right now and we can be done with this and wrap it up for $21,500? I asked him can I drive it one more time. He said sure. I'll be here when u get back. Let me know what you decide. I called an hour or so later and told the salesman I'd take it if they gave me a free tank of gas and they didn't have to clean it up. He said I'll let my manager know. A few minutes later the manager called me back and said he never actually offered me that price just was asking if I would. We were only $500 dollars away at the time. He said he got in trouble with his boss for going so low. If he didn't actually make the offer how could he get in trouble. He's a manager and even showed me all these numbers on a sheet of what they paid and how much they had in it etc. After dropping the car off I even called him back giving him a chance to honor his offer. He said no.

Used & new vehicle

I bought a used vehicle, a Chevy Trailblazer. It had great mileage & it looked great. I test drove it & everything seemed fine. Of course you know that when you drive it off the lot for good that's when you notice the inevitable. It seemed like a lemon but really someone just drove it hard. It was a one owner vehicle when I became the owner of it. I went in the next day to the dealership because they called & told me that I still needed to sign some more papers. When I arrived & was sitting at the financial officers desk, I was told that I had never legally signed the papers. I told the guy that I didn't like the vehicle. Something was desperately wrong with it. I wanted to give it back. He left for a moment, came back, told me that I couldn't do that, & intimidated me to sign the papers finalizing the deal. During the 1st week of driving the vehicle, it needed a transmission. They did replace the transmission however, when I told them that it needed a new engine, they refused to do anything about it. I had been told by several mechanics that this was the case. One mechanic vacuumed several pounds of sand out of the engine. The engine on the vehicle that the sales person (Casey), sold to me. They lied & cheated me. The only thing that they would do for me is, sell me another $20,000 vehicle & I would have to pay for that vehicle, $20,000 plus the Trail Blazer & the unpaid loan for that vehicle on top of that. A single mother of three children now owes a car loan for over $30,000 & only one vehicle to show for it. I will be paying for it forever & ever & ever.....Is this fair? *** no!!!!! Is this a 5 star dealership? They say they are. *** no!!!! I was cheated & robbed. Wavy News 10 is full of ***. This is a legitimate complaint & they didn't help at all. Only the rich get help. The consumer who spends all of their hard earned cash on something that they & their family needs& counts on for survival have nothing to compensate for it. We can't afford such an expensive mistake as this. We can't afford any mistakes at all. Not to mention what this teaches the kids.

Lied to and threatened

VERY UNHAPPY!! Was lied to by Kita (finance dept.) and Brandon (sales manager) that they could help me. Put me in a loaner car and was told "Don't worry we can get you what you need at the price you want". I called several times the first WEEK and got no return calls. Finally went in to talk to another person I was pushed off on, Rob. He also gave me numbers I was clearly not comfortable with, but was told "let me see what I can do and I will call you tomorrow". No call ... "SURPRISED - I'm Not!!!" I called and left messages and no return call. I finally got a call after 2 weeks when I guess they wouldn't work with the price - low ball offer on the trade in and no break on the sticker price. Rob left me a message on my cell saying I "was to call immediately because they were getting ready to report the loaner car as "not an approved driver" or some ***. Not happy getting a threatening call by someone who jerked me around for 2 weeks. Went to Southern Jeep down the street got double for my trade and a great price. Less than 24 hours I was in a new car with ALL the paperwork done. WOULD NOT GO TO GREENBRIER DODGE EVER!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
